Doxium 500 contains, as its active substance, calcium dobesilate.

It acts on small blood vessels-capillaries-by normalizing the resistance and permeability of their walls.

Indications:

blood micro-circulation disorders in the case of diabetes (such as diabetic retinopathy)
skin problems linked to vein disorders varicose veins with swelling, pins and needles, pain and cramp
hemorrhoids
in addition to other treatments for complications after vein inflammation (phlebitis)
in addition to surgical treatment or sclerotherapy for varicose veins

Dose:

For adults only.

In general, 1 to 2 capsules should be taken, once or twice a day

Doxium 500 capsules should be taken during or immediately after meals with a little water, in order to minimize any gastric discomfort

Common side effects:

Abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, joint pain, muscle pain

Pregnancy or Breast-feeding:

Doxium must not be used during pregnancy, unless explicitly prescribed by your doctor
As a precaution, either treatment or breast-feeding should be suspended. Please consult your doctor
